Women Political Leaders (WPL) Appoints "Global Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goals"

Women Political Leaders (WPL) is an international network of female politicians and leaders. WPL's mission is to increase the number and influence of women in political positions in countries around the world. WPL members consist of women who serve in political positions in their respective countries, such as president, prime minister, cabinet ministers, members of parliament, governors/mayors, and others.

President of the Nuraa Women's Institute, Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, appointed as "WPL Global Ambassador for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". As someone who has contributed greatly to the highest level, she is committed to using her international experience to advocate and support the organization's mission to increase the number and influence of women in politics, especially in relation to efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals / SDGs. "SDGs are the best framework for increasing international cooperation to eliminate poverty, protect the planet, and ensure the achievement of general health and prosperity by 2030," said Dr. Assegaf.
