Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf Attends the World Economic Forum 2025 in Davos, Switzerland
Davos, Switzerland – On January 20-24, 2025, Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, President of Nuraa Women’s Institute, participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 in Davos, a global platform where leaders from government, business, and civil society come together to address pressing global challenges.
During her time at WEF, Dr. Nurhayati contributed to a high-level dialogue titled "Collaboration in the Intelligent Age: Investing in Women Empowerment." The discussion focused on how technological advancements and strategic investments can create more inclusive opportunities for women in leadership, business, and innovation.
She also attended Indonesia Night, an annual gathering that showcases Indonesia’s cultural richness and economic potential to the global audience. This event provided an opportunity to strengthen diplomatic and business ties while highlighting the role of Indonesian women in global progress.
During her time in Davos, Dr. Assegaf also had the chance to meet with and have dialogue with H. E. Helen Clark, former Prime Minister of New Zealand. The discussion pertains on how to maximize the role of women in accelerating SDGs.
